The Swagit menu of the Discussion Manager is used for communicating with a Swagit video encoder. This section is only for customers using Swagit for audio visual components.
Details / Sequence of Events
Sign-In to the Meeting Manager App. If you need help logging-in OR understanding Groups, Meetings, Configurations; view the following links:
Navigate to the Discussion Manager App menu option. Then select the 5th Tab at the top of the screen named Swagit and a screen similar to the one below will appear. There are two items you need to edit on this screen and are explained further below.
Each of the 2 selections in the Swagit Controls area are explained further below:
Send Data to Encoder (check box)
Click the Send Data to Encoder checkbox to enable communication with your Swagit video encoder. When this box is UnChecked, Swagit communication controls are disabled.
Connection Address (digital connection input)
Enter the Connection Address of your Swagit video encoder. This is a technical setting that your A/V Specialist will understand and can tell you what this address should be. Consult with your A/V specialist about this and contact OpenMeeting Support with your A/V Specialist if you have additional questions.
You are finished with the Discussion Manager – Swagit settings.
